Young Adult Ministries
The young adult ministry at Central Woodward Christian Church has taken the name Central Woodward Young Adult Christian Community. This community is in the early stages of its formation, but something truly wonderful is happening as young adults, from ages 18 to 30 begin to explore their faith and put it into practice.
The purpose of this ministry is to build a community of faith through transformative worship, small group study, service, and fellowship.
Starting in October 2010, the Central Woodward Young Adult Christian Community is a commitment to these four areas of intentional community:
- Worship- an alternative worship gathering, beginning once/month
- Service- community service event, beginning once/month (as a part of the larger church on alternating months)
- Fellowship- fun times, beginning once/month (as part of the larger church on alternating months)
- Small Group Study- We will begin 'The Sinai Experiment,' as a six week study.
