Join us for worship each Sunday at 10:30
Worship is the foundation of our life together. As the people of God we believe it is imperative that we grow deep in our relationship with God and with each other. It is in worship that we are empowered to love and serve the community. Worship can come in many forms, and ours seeks to blend elements of various traditions, from traditional to modern, from liturgical to contemporary. The music ministry ranges makes use of organ, piano, guitar, choir, and more. As Disciples our worship centers on Word and Sacrament -- that is, preaching of the Word of God and sharing at the Lord's Table (Communion and Eucharist are common synonyms) are foundational. It is our practice to open the Lord's Table to all who would come, as was the practice of Jesus. Although worship our worship is intergenerational we provide nursery care and children's programming during the service.
Alternative Worship Service -- 2nd Sunday at 5 pm
On the Second Sunday of each month, CWCC offers a special, very informal worship experience. This service is currently led and planned by the CWCC Young Adult Christian Community, but it is open to people of every age. The service centers around the Lord's Supper, but includes singing, a time of prayer, and one-on-one sharing. The service begins at 5:00 pm and runs for about one hour.
