Women's Ministries

Women participate in all areas of church life.  There are, however, several groups that are focused on women. 

Disciples Women

This is the name given to the women's ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Their purpose is:

  • To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.
  • To provide a channel through which women in the congregations and the regional Women's Ministries in the United States and Canada, may be joined in fellowship and find means for effective participation in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).     

Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF)

This is the local expression of Disciple Women.  It meets monthly for fellowship and study. 

Round Table

Related to CWF, Round Table has been in existence for many years, like CWF they meet occasionally for fellowship, study, and to provide support for the church's mission.

Women of Wisdom

A small group women's Bible study, the group meets monthly to discuss topics of interest to women.
