Perry Gresham Lectures
Perry Gresham was the second pastor of Central Woodward Christian Church (1947-1953). Not only was a highly regarded preacher, he was also an academic. After his service as pastor at Central Woodward, Dr. Gresham went on to be the President of Bethany College, a school founded by Disciples founder Alexander Campbell. These lectures are named for Perry Gresham because they seek to bring together his commitment to the life of the spirit and the life of the mind. The lectures are held each year in the fall. Starting in 2011, the lectures will include a Pastor's Day that is co-sponsored by Christian Theological Seminary.
- 2011 Gresham Lecturer: Dr. Bruce Epperly
- September 16-17 (9-3 each day).
- 2010 Gresham Lecturer: Dr. Ron Allen
